….now it´s getting real!

We´ve found exactly the house we´re looking for to let our dream come true - the first litter at our Borzoi kennel "vom Euskirchenhof".
Since years we´ve been planning and it all started with our first Borzoi "Joschij vom Sölring Hüs".

But step by step: We are an ordinary and lucky family, me Rosi, husband Peter and our children Sophia, Leon, Lusin and Matthias.
I met my first Borzoi in 1980 and I immediately fell in love with the breed. The same happened to Peter as soon as he saw his first Borzoi in 2000. In every corner of our hearts the wish of breeding became stronger and stronger. It was like magic. In 2005 we got "Joschij", the best male we could ever find in the world. He is from kennel "vom Sölring Hüs" in Germany, a kennel with more than 25 years experience in breeding Borzois. Joschij is such an excellent, marvellous dog. He has everything to be the foundation male of our kennel. And with the breeder Inken und Harald Neumann we found lovely friends and great mentors for us! They always gave us any possible support. Many thanks for that……. !

In 2006 "Brin" (Tovaritch´s Boltuska) came to us…! She is out of "Helinka vom Sölring Hüs". Helinka grew up in Canada with Lexy and Greg Hancock at kennel "Tovaritch´s". A very successful kennel too, with best dogs and lovely breeders as well! They started their breeding with Helinka vom Sölring Hüs - so we all are a big family.
"Brin" was 11 month when she came to us. She actually has selected us and is just like made for us, a wonderful, lovely girl with best character and behaviour.

…and now it´s getting real: The mating days of "Brin" were 15th and 16th of May 2009. Now we have to wait four long weeks until we will know by ultrasound, if everything went right……..!
